Left Hand "Design a T-shirt" contest

On Monday evening, June 6^th during Philly Beer Week, Left Hand Brewing Company in association with Awesome Dudes Printing is holding a “Design a T-Shirt” Contest for Left Hand Brewing.

The rules are as follows:

- design must be 2-3 colors

- submitted on a 8.5x11 sheet of paper,

but saved on their computer up to print size and 300dpi so if they win they can get us a print ready file

- have the words "Left Hand Brewing", can have an image to go with it or just use the words

- winner gets a gift certificate to Awesome Dudes Printing for $50

- also get a shirt with their winning design a couple weeks after the event

The event starts at 7PM. Bring your entry by 9:00. Judges will announce the winner at 10PM

There will be t-shirt giveaways as well.

Sixpoint Record Fair

On Saturday, June 11^th during Philly Beer Week, in collaboration with Sixpoint Brewing Company, the P.O.P.E. will be holding a record fair from 11:30AM-3PM. If you wish to sell records, you can rent a table for $10 (2 table max.). Please contact info@pubonpassyunkeast.com to inquire and register.

Beer Rep. Jersey Dan will be DJing and hosting the event.

Each time you purchase a drink from Sixpoint, you’ll earn a raffle ticket for a drawing to an upcoming show (as yet determined) booked by R5 productions and Village Green Entertainment. Winners will be drawn at 3:00pm.

We will also feature a friendly Record Swap Box where you can trade (leave a record, take a record).

Ballast Point's "One Month to Go for PBW" teaser

On Tuesday evening, May 3rd at 7PM, the P.O.P.E. is hosting "One Month To Go For PBW" preview with San Diego, CA's Ballast Point Brewing. The event will feature a full line-up on draft of their awesome portfolio including Sculpin IPA and some never-before-on-the-East-Coast beer as well.

The Craft Beer Express is riding hard through the city.

It is stopping at the P.O.P.E. armed only with a trusty Randall 3.0 and a bunch of Dogfish Limited Releases.

It's not going to last long, but it is going to be a hell of a ride!

The CBX (Fall Session) is on November 13th from 11am to 9pm and will have a series of buses running loops between the following bars (Kraftworks, Johnny Brenda's, Standard Tap, The Institute, Bishop's Collar, Kite & Key, Jose Pistolas, Sidecar, P.O.P.E, Devils Den & Brauhaus Schmitz).

The cost of the bus tickets are $10 and can be purchased on line or at any of the participating bars and will run approximately every 25 minutes.
